Take 500 grams of flaxseeds. Heat a pan on medium flame and add the flaxseeds. Roast them for 8-10 minutes while stirring continuously. When the seeds start making a crackling sound and turn slightly golden, remove them from heat and let them cool.

2. Roasting the Dry Fruits

Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a pan. First, add half a cup of almonds and roast them lightly. Once puffed, remove them. Next, roast half a cup of cashews until golden and set them aside. Then roast 1 cup of makhana for 3-4 minutes and keep them with the almonds and cashews. Lastly, dry roast half a cup of grated coconut on low flame (without ghee) until aromatic. Set it aside.

3. Grinding Flax Seeds and Dry Fruits

Grind the roasted flaxseeds in a blender. And transfer it to a large bowl. Grind the almonds, cashews, and makhana into a coarse powder. Mix with flaxseed powder. Keep the grated coconut separate.

4. Making Jaggery Syrup

Heat half a cup of desi ghee in a pan. Add 400 grams of jaggery and melt it on low flame while stirring continuously. Do not overcook the jaggery as it will make the laddus hard. Once the jaggery melts completely, add cardamom powder and raisins to it.

5. Mixing All Ingredients

Combine the ground flaxseeds, dry fruit powder, and roasted coconut in a large mixing bowl. Pour the hot jaggery syrup over this mixture and mix thoroughly. Mix until all ingredients are evenly coated.

6. Shaping the Laddus

Allow the mixture to cool slightly (but not completely). Grease your hands with ghee and start shaping the laddus. Make them as small or large as you prefer.
